And yet also, what felt impossible is now possible.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat if clothing has turned upside down, too?<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat if there is a way to use pieces in both ways, like a double-ended marker pen? <br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat if we can flip clothes upside down like looking at them in a double end mirror?<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tSide C, the transformative look at classics that focuses on innovative pattern making<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tin order to offer multiple ways to wear and interpret garments,<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tfinds a further new dimension: a vertical one, <br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tin which top and bottom can be both used, switching from one shape to the other in the flip of the axis.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tBy working simultaneously on construction and deconstruction,<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\titems turn 90\u00b0, 180\u00b0, 270\u00b0 to form new silhouettes and shapes that can be used both ways.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tFunction stays, shape mutates.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA cape becomes a fishtail dress. A down ruffled dress turns into a down opera coat.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA map appears on a coat: an indispensable aid to navigate a world turned unfamiliar. <br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAir force jackets become navy ones. Check patterns have up and down directions.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA Gustave Verbeek drawing on a knit sweater has fish swimming against gravity. <br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWisteria and willow flower motifs migrate from summer to winter. <br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMasculine and feminine collide.
