Materials
Ultimate Pima is grown exclusively on the Dorsey-Alvarez farm in New Mexico, USA. While the world’s cotton production is estimated to be around 25 million tonnes, it is extremely rare, with a production of around 50 tonnes per year, or 0.000019% of the world’s total. The rarity of Ultimate Pima can be seen from the fact that the production of super-long-staple cotton and organic cotton, which are generally regarded as rare, accounts for 1% of the total production.
New Mexico has a favourable climate for growing extra-long staple cotton, and Dorsey Alvarez Farms has been growing organic cotton for 30 years. Ultimate Pima is grown in a fertile, nutrient-rich, high-quality environment with soil nurtured by years of organic farming, resulting in a plush, long-fibre, moist, high-quality raw material.
The thick, firm material, which is distinctly different from conventional organic cotton, has a bounciness and firmness, and retains its texture for a long time. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the ultimate organic cotton, which becomes more comfortable the more you wear it and can be used for many years to come.

The Collar
