What if garments traditionally associated with the military turned into the lightest and most connective creations? The DOUBLE-END military items from the Summer 2023 Paris Collection symbolizing the season’s theme – A new way of connecting.
Side-C” is a clothing design idea proposed by beautiful people. The “DOUBLE-END” technique, which allows the garment to be worn upside down, the Spring/Summer 2023 collection is the 10th season presenting the DOUBLE-END concept using military items that remind us of confrontation and disconnection. The “DOUBLE-END” technique allows military items associated with confrontation and disconnection to be transformed into items that symbolize connection and harmony.
It is neither A nor B.
But it is both A and B.
We introduce items that were originally pattern-made and can only be found at beautiful people.
Inspired by the French Army’s M-47 cargo trousers, these trousers have a clean waist and a voluminous hemline. They can be worn upside down by opening the zippers on both sides, changing the combination and closing them. When inverted, they change into Swedish Army M-90 flight trousers with a sarouel silhouette.
Jacket inspired by the US Army Mountaineer jackets with distinctive waistbelt, which were mainly issued during the Second World War in the 1940s. When worn upside down, it changes into a frilled blouson with a gathered collar where the waist belt becomes the collar. The amount of gather can be changed by the way the belt is drawn.
This below-the-knee cargo skirt incorporates the slanted cargo pockets characteristic of British Army PCS trousers and can be worn upside down by opening the front fastener. When worn upside down, it transforms into a long skirt with details from USAF flight pants.
Inspired by the US Army field jacket, a classic military item. Can be worn upside down to transform it into a waist-length cape jacket. It is also possible to enjoy the change in volume of the collar by drawing the drawcord.
